The Old Man fell, his eyes fixed on the wound that marked the end of his long journey. A feeble smile graced his lips; his aged body could no longer endure the strife.
"No... FATHER!!!" Lianhua Qingyu rushed to his side, embracing him.
"IDIOT!!!" The big man roared, slashing his club at the skinny man.
"WHAT DID YOU DO, IDIOT!!!" He seethed with anger, losing 30 of his men and now the most recent recruit as well.
"He... HE KILLED MY BROTHER!!! I COULD SEE CUTS THAT HE MADE WERE SIMILAR TO IT. THIS BASTARD HAD TO DIE!!!" The skinny man charged towards the Old Man...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
In an instant, the club crushed him.
"Foolish idiot," the Big Man muttered, spitting on the ground.
"Father—" Lianhua Qingyu bowed her head, grief overwhelming her.
"Listen to me, my flower... You've grown so much in such a short time," the Old Man whispered, his hand tenderly caressing her hair as she wept.
"It's not your fault, sweetheart... I've lived my life well... with no regrets. Take care of yourself... and promise me you'll never be consumed by darkness again—" He didn't finish as he noticed the Old Woman.
"It's been wonderful living with you, Old Woman... take care," he said to her with a smile.
"You... idiot," the Old Woman smiled through her tears.
"F**K THIS!!! TAKE THE GIRL, AT LEAST WE'LL HAVE A DISPOSABLE SOLDIER!" The Big Man erupted, his patience running thin.
"No, please, she's just a child! What can she do?" Old Woman pleaded with the lackeys, but they pushed her away.
"Get out of here, Old Woman," one lackey ordered. When he tried to approach Lianhua Qingyu, he didn't expect her to resist fiercely, causing him to stumble.
"YOU B**CH!!!" He yelled, his friends trying to help, but Lianhua Qingyu's strength was overwhelming.
But finally, she couldn't resist the combined effort of so many people, and she was captured.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!!!" She screamed, her voice so loud it nearly deafened them.
"BOSS!!! CAN WE SHUT HER UP??!!" The lackey who had fallen due to Lianhua Qingyu's resistance suggested, his embarrassment pushing him to the brink of frustration.
"NO!!! GET HER HERE!!!" The Big Man barked.
"NO, PLEASE LET HER GO!!!" Old Woman implored the Big Man.
But...
"AGHGHHG!!!" She felt a kick to her ribs, sending her flying and spitting blood.
"NOOO!!!" Lianhua Qingyu watched in horror, her eyes betraying her disbelief. Old Woman was okay but in her mind she was not, she felt some kind of push in her mind, she yelled out... but in her mind something broke... something very important... a shackle and...
"GET HER HERE!!!" The Big Man shouted once more.
"GET HER HERE, FAST, NOW!!!" He insisted.
"Yes, Boss!!!" The lackeys nodded and approached her.
"M—," Lianhua Qingyu muttered.
"Agh..." A sharp pain pierced her mind.
"AGHGHGHG!!!" She felt even more pain.
"AAAAAAAAAGHGGGHGHHGHG!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
"What's wrong with her?" the lackeys asked, baffled.

After one scream, they released her.
"I see... I remember... I remember everything..." Lianhua Qingyu said, her demeanor changing drastically.
"You idiots, I'll handle this myself." The Big Man sneered and advanced towards Lianhua Qingyu.
"At least you'll become a member of our gang, little girl. Not many receive such an invitation," he remarked, almost touching her.
BANG!!!
And he exploded.
Silence enveloped everyone. they looked at the blood that was on the ground, they could not imagine what happened. they did not even see anything but he just exploded like this, he was just about to touch Lianhua Qingyu but...
"Boss..." The lackeys were left speechless.
Lianhua Qingyu stood up, moving towards her mother who had lost consciousness.
"It's okay now," she said, her eyes cold.
"It's time to finish what I started."
"YOU B**TARD WITCH!!!" One lackey moved towards her with a sword.
Snap!
With a snap of her fingers, they all exploded.
"Time for the reckoning to begin, finally." Lianhua Qingyu extended her hands, and...

A colossal pillar of explosive energy surged into the sky, shrouding everything in demonic miasma.
The apocalypse had begun.
Meanwhile, Alex had already returned to his building and found Fengying on the ground.
"Damn... this is bad," he muttered. A sense of impending danger urged him to leave, despite his capabilities.
"Hey... Wake up—" Alex stopped abruptly, contemplating whether to awaken her.
"Oh, damn it... who cares," he decided, slapping her lightly.
Slap!!! Slap!!! Slap!!!
"What..." Fengying jolted awake, but Alex quickly covered her mouth.
"Be quiet. We need to leave now." Alex swiftly picked her up, heading for the sect's exit. His instincts told him to escape, though he wasn't entirely sure why. his instincts were yelling at him to get out of this place no matter what, like he could not be in this place right now. would die if he was.
"Demon invasion," Alex muttered, as Fengying noticed the unconscious people and red figures observing them from a distance, but not approaching.
"Demon—," Fengying began but was hushed.
"I said speak softly. We need to avoid drawing their attention," Alex warned, his senses alert.
"Oh my god..." Fengying realized the gravity of the situation as she surveyed the unconscious bodies and the ominous red figures. She felt an overwhelming fear creeping in.
"Demons don't harm the unconscious. But there's more to this. If simply sleeping could evade them, demons wouldn't rule entire eras," Alex explained his suspicions.
They neared the sect's exit.
But...
BANG!!!
An overwhelming aura descended upon the sect, nearly cracking its structures.
"I see now... It appears humans still dominate this world... PROTECTORS!!!" A commanding, feminine voice echoed through the air. Its sheer power created shockwaves that threatened to raze the sect, but...

A crimson aura emanated from the distance.
"MASTER!" Alex smiled as he witnessed the spectacle. He resumed his dash toward the exit, still determined to escape, his instincts refusing to settle.
"We need to get out."
