Trouble.

Alex, soaked in sweat, inadvertently muttered the expletive aloud. His entire being trembled with perspiration as he processed the memories he had witnessed—an unexpected revelation.

In those memories, he saw hundreds of fully operational spaceships launching an attack on the colossal planet they currently inhabited. He recognized the planet, having visited it during his journey to the moon.

Alex gulped, his mind grappling with the revelation that this colossal attack's target was himself. He stood there, an immense figure shielding the planet at the cost of sustaining severe injuries.

"Why would I ever protect this damn place? It makes no sense," Alex muttered to himself, struggling to understand why he would risk his life to defend a world he had longed to escape.

"Could this be a glimpse of the future, Chang Li?" Alex turned to his concerned companion.

"I don't know, Senior Brother Li, but if it is, we must uncover the reason behind your decision to protect our world," Chang Li replied, his apprehension evident. He understood that Alex had no emotional attachment to this planet; in fact, Alex had once confided in him that his primary goal was to escape it.

Chang Li interpreted "ascension to higher realms" as Alex's ultimate objective, but even that didn't align with the current situation. Why would Alex forsake the opportunity for ascension to safeguard this planet?

"Alright, let's return to the sect and put some clothes on," Alex suggested, tossing a set of garments from his dimensional pouch clothes.

Chang Li emerged and dressed himself.

Alex sat before a table within the sect's confines, his thoughts racing.

"This is ridiculous. Why am I even thinking about this?" he muttered, shaking his head.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

A knock sounded at his room's door knock. He wasn't in his usual study room but back in his building.

"Come in," Alex called out as Fengying entered.

"What's troubling you, Fengying? Did something go wrong with the technique?" Alex inquired, aware that she was still practicing her Blink technique.

"Not really. I just wanted to talk to you. You seemed distressed when you returned," Fengying said as she settled on his bed.

"Yeah, I saw some things, and I'm trying to make sense of them," Alex admitted, gazing out of the window.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Fengying asked, moving closer to the table.

"Well, yes, there is," Alex replied. He handed her several papers containing blueprints for various modern technologies he planned to create.

Fengying examined the blueprints in her hands. "What are these?" she inquired.

"Ah, it's nothing. You can put them down," Alex replied, a sly smile on his face.

Fengying complied and placed the blueprints on the table. Then, she moved closer to Alex and rested her hands on his neck. "Perhaps you need some rest..." she suggested, her voice seductive.

Alex didn't move and said, "Not really, i am about to break through a very important discovery." He said this and pulled out the blueprints.

"Then what about... some pleasure," Fengying said and clothes fell off from her.

Alex turned around to see her perfect body lying naked in front of him.

He smiled and jumped up from his seat.

He went closer to her and put his hands on her chest.

And...

"Who the fuck are you" He whispered in her ear.

SLASH!!!

And pierced his hand in her body.

"Why did you—" She started to question but couldn't finish.

BOOM!

Alex's sword, the one bestowed upon him by Sect Master Lin, emitted a blazing orange light, almost slicing through his shoulders.

"How did you figure it out?" a robotic voice emanated from the explosion.

Alex glared and retorted, "Fuck you, that's how." He had sensed a connection the moment he and Chang Li had left the brothel.

"Looks like i was wrong, you fuckers are real." Alex looked in front of him to see a... Humanoid creature, completely shrouded in silver light and electricity moving around her body... This was some kind of Bionic Android Robot he had seen in his past life. but this one was way different the silver light wasn't just a silver light, it was some kind of watery mass moving and fixing her shoulders, Alex was feeling more and more and more confused as he watched the robot heal, this wasn't how he imagined robots be and not how would they heal, but would not give this to chances here fight.

"You..." The robot began before Alex swiftly moved in, pummeling her underground.

"I also detected the force field you placed on my building. Let's see who you really are," Alex muttered, intending to unmask her. But...

"SHIT!" He suddenly found himself in another room, clutching Fengying, and away from the battle.

BOOM!

An explosion shook the entire mountain, and Alex quickly appeared outside of the blast, his hand burned.

"Damn it... she had a self-destruction function," he muttered, healing his injured hand.

Fengying stirred and woke up. "What happened?" she asked, having slept through the battle and only now regaining consciousness.

Alex sighed and answered, "Trouble." He then recalled something crucial.

"So, is this the war you mentioned, Master?" he said through clenched teeth, looking up as he sensed numerous presences heading towards the explosion.

"Are you telling me that a silver creature attacked you?" Sect Master Lin questioned, his eyebrows furrowed.

Alex had experienced an eventful few hours, far removed from the Inner Sect's confines where he could have easily concocted a fabricated explanation for the explosion in his house. Here, within the Core Sect, he was compelled to provide a detailed account of the incident.

"Yes, and yes, and yes. I don't know more. After I defeated the creature, it self-destructed," Alex explained, recounting the battle to Sect Master Lin.

Sect Master Lin rubbed his temples, realizing that the situation had escalated significantly.

However, another explosion, this time from a different mountain, interrupted their discussion.

"Oh, shit! I forgot about Chang Li!" Alex exclaimed.
