War.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Alex gazed ahead, witnessing waves of mountains. What perplexed him the most was that he could see everything clearly, including gigantic monsters, meters high, peacefully grazing on grass, leaves, and berries. What made this sight remarkable was the monsters' unusual behavior. Before reaching the Soul Absorption Level, monsters were known for their relentless hunger. Left unattended, they would swiftly resort to killing when they were famished. Their insatiable appetite was what earned them the title of "monsters." They were nearly impossible to control without special artifacts, and they wouldn't readily submit to anyone's command.

But now, Alex observed hordes of monsters slumbering soundly, scratching themselves, and leisurely dining on leaves, all without any signs of hunger or aggression.

This sight left Alex speechless.

"What in the world..." Alex murmured, unable to find words to describe this peculiar phenomenon.

"Each of these monsters has a spark of intelligence that keeps their ravenous nature in check," Lian Hua explained. "We've been striving to discover the reason behind this, but despite our efforts, we couldn't determine why."

Lian Hua beamed with pride, having provided these creatures with a peaceful sanctuary. In the wild, their constant hunger was essential for survival, as it fueled their ability to hunt. Here, they had managed to subdue their relentless hunger and could consume anything except their fellow creatures.

"I see. So why have you brought me here?" Alex asked, puzzled.

"Because we've made an intriguing discovery—their hunger, the root cause," Lian Hua replied, as she led Alex to the heart of the forest.

Alex followed her.

They reached a hut made of wood. Before entering, Alex noticed a tree stump that had been cut down. The log had been placed in the ground, revealing that the tree was over 3000 years old. He was taken aback.

Inside the wooden hut, Alex felt disappointed at first. The room contained a worn-out wooden bed, a drawer, and something that made him stumble—a lamp, a genuine World War II-era lamp with a metal structure and wires leading into a large glass jar.

Wordlessly, Alex looked to Lian Hua.

"This place was discovered by my father, a long time ago, i was just a little so i don't remember much but i could see my father arguing over something... we went in with my mother and i saw what father was talking about." Lian Hua sighed.

"It wasn't anything important, he was just talking about 12 Supreme Cores we know already but his expression..." Lian Hua said.

"He was the same expression as you had when you discovered 12 Supreme Cores..." Lian Hua smiled.

Alex scratched his head with embarrassment and looked around "So... That doesn't give me the answer i want, why did you bring me here?" He asked her.

"It's because, after years of research, we finally discovered a glimmer of truth about this." Lian Hua went towards the drawer and put her hands on the lamp.

She then opened the glass jar almost making Alex fall, he didn't want her to break it. she then made light and closed the Jar... the entire lamp went glowing.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

And something came out from the center of the hut...

It was a wood pillar that stopped when it was about 1 meter.

There was some kind of door that came out from the middle and there was a circle-looking place where you had to put something.

"This is the thing we have discovered." Lian Hua pulled out one of the 12 Supreme Cores, this time tho it wasn't white it was blue.

She put the core and the mold in and it fit perfectly.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A pillar of light went upwards instantly.

Every Monster around this place opened their eyes wide and blue light came out of them.

And...

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOARRR!!!

Started to fight each other.

Alex looked at this with also flabbergasted... he just saw these monsters peacefully lying on the ground now slaughtering each other, every one of these monsters was trying to kill each other.

"Then this." Lian Hua took the stone out and Light Pillar Vanished.

And monsters calmed down as well.

Alex dropped his mouth in shock.

"We have discovered that 12 Supreme Cores can control the monsters, in the entire mountain range you can make Monsters do your bidding." Lian Hua said this.

Alex was dumbfounded but he asked "So? I will ask again, why have you brought me here?" He didn't understand the reason why she exposed a secret like this to him, there were at least 1000 monsters in just what he could see but in the entire mountain range, there could be more than what anyone could imagine.

"I want to know if he detected..." Lian Hua said.

"Detected what again?" Alex asked.

"Detected chaos energy." Lian Hua answered.

"Chaos Energy? Okay, my girl you need to go ahead and talk, i fucking hate riddles that i need to solve, you either tell me what you want from me or just shut the fuck up and let me farm this 12 Supreme Cores." Alex said this getting frustrated with her right now, She said so many things without actually answering his question.

"This Chaos Energy is somehow normal in this Stone... and every time i try to pry into its secrets i get the same expression, i feel like i can do many things with this.... but i don't know why... i don't know what i can do with this stone... i don't know why i have the expression. was hoping you could answer this." Lian Hua looked at Alex.

Alex smiled and said, "YOu want to know?" He said this.

"Yes..." Lian Hua looked as Alex came closer to her.

"Okay..." He pulled his hand up and.

"Wai---" Lian Hua understood what Alex was about to do and blushed.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Alex knocked her down with one punch.

"Sorry little girl but that is not something you can understand," Alex said.

"Looks like i have discovered something that i can use to my advantage." Alex smiled again and looked at the mountains where the Monsters were resting.

"This is going to be fun."
