Wuzhao's Quite Crisis.

"Psssshhhh! Li Ming, you're going to get us spotted," chided a plump, young boy who concealed himself behind a weathered pillar, gazing nervously at his friend.

Li Ming, a 13-year-old with raven-black hair and dark attire, including a hooded cloak, peered out from a ruined building. His determined gaze remained fixed on the encroaching Invader Silvery Creatures.

"If you're scared, you can leave, Chen Wei. But I won't allow these beasts to conquer my village," Li Ming asserted resolutely.

This was the realm of Wuzhao, a world embroiled in war for the past few years. The Invaders, known as Xian'ge, were an enigmatic race that had infiltrated the world. These alien beings were proficient in taking over human hosts, acquiring all their knowledge and information. They had even managed to subdue numerous sects by commandeering their Sect Masters. In the Western Continent, they had compromised many coastal villages, turning people into their mind-controlled puppets. They have been the enemy arrogant coucnil in this world could not take care of, they were monsters that had never been sen before in any of the Continents, they were smart cunning scheming, one of the hardest things was that they could not even hit some of them, all of them had some kind of talents and that talents were the ones that decided the leader of this race, most of them were so powerful Overlords were needed to take care of them, people here had a very hard time actually getting powerful enough to be considred an Overlord, Overlords were quite hard to come by, it was some kind of limitation from the World itself, now imagine the only way to beat this race was to fight with the Overlords, they had hard time defending themselvses and this was the biggest danger they have faced since the Devils. Leaders of the Human Race stumbled around to find a way to defeat this Monsters and they were close to finding that out, but before that the danger they posed needed to be taken care of as in the future if the did find anything it would be quite too late to use that way to defeat them. But here lays a big probem, something that they have not walked around and even Overlord were worried about, this problem actually was... the problem that could cause their downfall if the don't find a weakness to it, and it was actually finding very easy probem.

To eliminate them, one had to destroy their entire bodies, as they could regenerate instantaneously. These creatures defied human attempts to combat them.

"But..." Chen Wei bit his lip, torn between wanting to help Li Ming and acknowledging their lack of cultivation power, making victory impossible.

"No 'buts.' If you trust me, follow me. If you're afraid, it's okay... I'm scared too. But I must attempt something," Li Ming declared, his eyes locked on a small entrance to a nearby shack where three Xian'ge lurked.

Though the creatures were some distance away, Li Ming's sharp senses allowed him to discern their presence.

Three hours later.

"Pzzzzsssttt!!!" Chen Wei snored peacefully, shrouded by the night.

Li Ming maintained his vigilant stance, focusing on the same shack. He practiced the breathing techniques his father had taught him, ensuring he didn't fall asleep.

He observed a pattern: every night, the Xian'ge, like ordinary humans, would rest. While they commandeered human bodies, they remained subject to bodily needs, among other limitations. The moment they possessed someone, they were incapable of cultivating or growing stronger in that body, necessitating the absorption of more individuals to increase their power. They operated outside the rules of cultivators.

As the night wore on, the three Xian'ge departed for their homes to rest.

Li Ming smiled, gently shaking Chen Wei.

"Wake up, it's our turn," he urged, keeping a hand on his friend.

Chen Wei roused from his slumber and, after comprehending the plan, nodded.

Quietly, the two ventured toward the shack, making sure to remain concealed.

This mission marked the most significant undertaking of their lives. The two teenagers closed the door upon entering the shack, closing off the outside world.

"Pheeeewww!!!" Both breathed sighs of relief while remaining alert, scanning their surroundings.

"Here." Li Ming produced a shovel and began to dig into the ground. Chen Wei followed suit, understanding little but placing unwavering trust in his friend. They had been inseparable since childhood; how could he betray him now?

After minutes of digging, they heard a sound.

DING!!!

A metallic clang echoed within.

Li Ming grinned, setting his shovel aside. He pressed his hands to the ground and tugged.

"AGHHHGH!!! HELP ME!!!" He shouted to Chen Wei, and together, they pulled.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The metallic bunker door swung open.

BZSSSTTT!!!

Dust billowed out, engulfing the teenagers.

"Cough... Cough... Cough... Come quickly before anyone notices," Li Ming said, leading Chen Wei to the gaping hole. He sealed the bunker doors immediately.

Chen Wei surveyed his surroundings in astonishment. How did his brother have a secret bunker like this? Stairs led downward into a dim corridor, creating an eerie atmosphere.

"Brother... What is this place?" he inquired.

Li Ming glanced at him, smiled, and performed a clapping gesture.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

The lights brightened, revealing the expanse of the stairway.

"Follow me, Brother. This is where I've been going," Li Ming explained, guiding Chen Wei down the extensive flight of stairs.

Chen Wei remained awestruck. They entered a vast chamber filled with strange contraptions, resembling something out of a steampunk novel. There were glass containers with unknown chemicals, massive barrels filled with blue liquid, and creatures swimming within. Numerous microscopes were scattered about.

Chen Wei was overwhelmed. "What—"

He couldn't finish his question, overwhelmed by the revelation. He had never seen anything remotely resembling this technology. He came from a world of windmills, and now he was thrust into this bewildering realm.

"Well... Let's freshen up, and I'll explain everything, Brother," Li Ming said, addressing a device named Wallix.

"Wallix, please reveal the rooms," he commanded.

Suddenly, something happened that left Chen Wei even more stupefied.
