Actual Start Danger.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

Alex was forcefully ejected from Fengying's dream as if he'd been punched in the gut and thrown out of her subconscious. he landed on the ground, gasping for breath, feeling as if he might vomit.

"Shit..." Alex sat up, his head reeling from the abrupt exit. He was back in the real world, and Fengying was still unconscious. The vivid and perplexing dream was still fresh in his mind.

He couldn't help but wonder about the strange dream that Fengying had experienced. A modern world, advanced technology, snipers, and the odd amalgamation of elements from his own life; was all too puzzling.

Alex wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. The dream had shaken him to the core. It felt like a puzzle that needed solving, and he was determined to uncover its meaning.

After a moment to collect himself, Alex decided to check on his status to see if there were any changes due to the recent events.

"System, show stats," he requested.

The status appeared before him:

[Stats Name: Alexander Simon Cultivation: Overlord (Sage) (+ -) Treasure: Heaven's Pillar (Restored) (+ -) Element: Power (3%) Bloodline: Ghost Demon Bloodline (100%) (100%) Lifespan: 10589503 Technique: Heaven Space Cutter (+ -) Soul Sword Technique (1 Soul) Golden Viper Arts (1 Viper) Dragon Twist Technique (Ninth Heaven) Space Shatter Fist (3 Shatter) (+ -)) 783/5000 Aura Weaponizing Technique (83th Level) Divine: Heavenly Divination Technique (5 Divinations) (+ -) Transformation (1 Level) (+ -) Demonic: Great Strengthening Demonic Ascension Technique (1000 Level, Comparable to Inner Soul Gathering Level (Full Cultivation)]

His attention was drawn to the Divine Heavenly Divination Technique. Alex contemplated the upgrade option:

[Do You Wish to Use Your Lifespan to Level Up Heavenly Divination Technique?

3,380,898 Years Of Lifespan.]

The sheer magnitude of the lifespan required for an upgrade left Alex in shock. Reluctantly, he confirmed his decision by clicking "Yes."

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!"

Alex almost puked up blood when he saw the amount of Lifespan required to Level Up Heavenly Divination Technique.

He has not farmed for a long time but seeing that lifespan just disappear was still a painful thing for him, He gritted his teeth and clicked Yes...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

His mind exploded, he was flying through a starry sky, but this time something else happened, he looked around and flew up even more, he left the actual planet and stopped and the Solar System Looking down.

He felt he could see the secrets of the heavens easily.

Alex got back to his mind.

System notified him of this making him smile in absolute delight.

He felt like he was on a 9th cloud now, this feeling was awesome.

Alex immediately looked around and saw his entire body was drenched ins sweat as he pissed himself after coming out of Fengying's mind.

He smiled awkwardly and immediately went towards the bathroom to clean up, he created the bathroom in the past with an actual shower when he didn't have time to get to the bathhouse so at times like this he could easily go and shower.

After a few minutes, Alex fell on his bed exhausted wanting to sleep.

"Master," Botoz addressed him.

Alex was taken aback but responded, "What is it, Botoz? Did I wake you up?"

"No, Master. I sense an imminent threat approaching from the north of this world. It's advancing rapidly and appears to be close to the barrier that separates our world," Botoz conveyed.

Alex was immediately on high alert. He remembered Chang Li's dream and the impending catastrophe. He knew the significance of the barrier and the danger it was designed to contain.

"Where?" Alex asked urgently.

Botoz pointed in the direction of the impending threat.

Without hesitation, Alex flew toward the location, reaching it in a matter of minutes. His ascended powers allowed him to move at an incredible speed, and he no longer experienced time in the same way.

When he arrived, he was faced with a sight that filled him with dread. There was a massive crack in the barrier, an impenetrable wall that separated their world from the unknown danger beyond. The barrier was slowly healing, but the more it healed, the more cracks appeared.

The barrier radiated an overwhelming aura of danger, threatening to engulf their world and all within it. Alex felt the ominous presence, and it was not something to be taken lightly.

He stood before the barrier and examined it closely. He had never been particularly interested in the legends surrounding the Immortals and the barrier, but now he realized the gravity of the situation.

The barrier was covered in deep cracks that seemed impossible to repair. He felt that the danger behind the barrier was imminent and overwhelming. Alex knew he couldn't let whatever was on the other side breach the wall.

Botoz, still in human form, approached the barrier, trying to assess its structure and composition. He touched it, but the barrier remained unaffected.

"Master, it seems impossible to break through this barrier. Its hardness is beyond my detection capabilities," Botoz reported a frown on his face.

Alex inquired, "Why do you think that, Botoz?"

"Because I cannot sense any resistance or toughness in this barrier at all. It's like an intangible phantom wall," Botoz explained as he continued to inspect it.

Alex sighed and looked to the left, where a vast mountain range extended.

He extended his senses to encompass the entire mountain range, covering a distance of nearly 10,000 kilometers. He confirmed that no villages or settlements were within the vicinity.

Alex then pointed his hands toward the mountain range and summoned a surge of his energy.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!"

His energy expanded and enveloped the entire mountain range, merging it with the barrier, as if using the mountains as giant bandages to reinforce the wall. He anchored the mountains securely to the ground, reinforcing the barrier with the immense mass and stability of the mountains.

"I hope this will give us enough strength," Alex muttered to himself.
