Towns.

Alex was bathed in blood as he killed everything in front of him.

"Wow, i thought there were only 2.500 Beasts, this seems a lot," Alex said as he looked down, he could see mountains of monsters that were completely beaten.

"Hmmm... there is something wrong here Master," Botoz said and looked around, his eyes turned blue as he flew towards one of the monsters.

"Wait..." Botoz halted and ascended into the sky, his gaze directed downward.

"This is strange. It feels like we haven't even made a dent. There are still more Beasts around," Alex observed, flying towards the nearest Beast horde, undeterred by the mystery. After all, he was still gaining Lifespan.

In the sky, Botoz extended his senses everywhere. Recognized by the Heavens, his sensing abilities had limits, yet they surpassed Alex's by a hundredfold.

"About 3,000 kilometers away, I can only sense Beasts. Something odd is happening; I suspect illusions," Botoz reported upon descending to Alex.

"No way," Alex retorted, confident that the System would not allow such a glitch without notifying him that he was slaughtering illusions.

"Why?" Botoz inquired.

"I don't know. I just feel they're not real," Alex answered as they descended toward a horde heading somewhere like mice drawn to cheese.

"Where are they heading?" Alex questioned.

"There's a city called Qingyun Regional City. It's a stronghold of the Scarlet Carnage Sect, with a few hundred Elders stationed there and likely equipped with formations," Botoz explained.

"Hmm... something is indeed peculiar. I'm so close, yet they aren't sensing me. They should be coming after me the moment they detect—" Alex said, furrowing his brows as he gazed toward the western side of the world. Determined to investigate, he sped up.

Wuzhao.

In the Icy Plains of the Eastern Continent.

"Hmmm???" A silver creature sat on a pillow, looking up.

"Wow, this is fascinating," he smiled like a madman.

"Seems like someone is helping us..." he remarked, standing up and leaning back.

Three hours later, at the conference table,

At the conference table, many people sat there smiling.

"Looks like someone wants to invade this world and they are weakening the Spatial Barrier of it, I am surprised, if not for the crack we would never be able to come to this world." One of the Silverly Creatures with hunchback said this as he smiled and looked at the wall that was quite some away from them.

"What about the Sects?" One of the other Creatures said this.

"Their sects are overwhelmed by the Beast Tide. This Beast Tide is quite unusual; I sense something peculiar," another said seriously.

"Then we must take advantage of this situation," one creature suggested with a smile.

"Send in the Insects first. Let's see how they handle this," another silver creature decided.

--

"Damn, this is messed up," Alex muttered, now in a forest without any Beasts. He found a town, seemingly thriving but marred by a gruesome sight.

"Everyone here is slaughtered... How many people were here?" Alex wondered, flying down to the entrance.

"I sense about 23,000 people were killed, Master... It's disgusting," Botoz seethed with anger at the scene.

"Do you think it was some kind of Beast?" Alex asked, The Beasts they had killed were enormous, their size was more than 300 meters sometimes, and they could easily kill everyone here if they wanted to.

"Well, Beasts would not be out of the question, it's just there is one thing, the Beasts would just smash into this place and beat it around, there is no way they would not even have Formations..." Botoz said this and looked around, pretty much every building here was intact except for the few ones that had scratch marks around. The Buildings here felt like they were just left alone and things that Beat this place only slaughtered the Humans that inhabited it, this was strange as No Beast Would just leave something that people were hiding behind alone, they would just go through and beat every single little thing they could see in front of them, this was, even more, weirder when you thought about that Beasts didn't just kill the Humans, Bodies of whoever that came fighting against Beasts would lose an arm or even more, the Even weirder thing was that Humans here looked powerful, mostly cultivators could be seen, This was extremely weird sight overall that Alex has never seen before, he wanted to know the truth behind this thing. This sight seemed like someone just come to this town and decided that Beasts were killing people, and they would also kill some people, This was just how it seemed. This town looked extremely luxurious with the Buildings extending to the absolute peak of what people could build in this world, the many different carvings could be seen on the walls, and things that Alex saw were very expensive, he could even see Houses that had Medicine's brewing on it, Alchemy Academic Academies could be seen as many people looked like they were doing some kind of exercise. overall this Town looked extremely beautiful probably very good as well, Alex would visit it in the future it wasn't something like this, there were not many towns like this in the World and Alex didn't like this, he would build one.

"Well, there may be some kind of little Beasts..." Alex said this and flew towards the Center of the Town, he wanted to see the City Lord's Mansion.

Mansions typically had powerful defenses, and if a normal Beast had attacked, there would be signs of struggle. Yet, the Mansion stood eerily untouched.

"HMMM???" Alex scanned the area, noticing the complete silence that enveloped the City Mansion. Something was off.

"Okay, this is getting weirder and weirder. Who would slaughter an entire town? Even evil sects wouldn't go this far, and this is near the Peak Level Sects..." Alex pondered, his thoughts interrupted by a sudden sound.

BZZZZTTTT!!!

"Hmmm? Quite interesting," he mused.
