Admit You're Wrong

"Ahem," the lead proctor cleared his throat trying to give himself some time to think things through.

Ming Hua who had transformed from a teary eyed innocent was still glaring at Bai Mo with unrestrained distaste. It was clear there was something between them, and Xiao Pei, the lead proctor, would need to tread carefully.

After taking in the scene of the two gers from well known families he couldn't afford to offend, Xiao Pei glanced over at the taller ger.

The ger looked nondescript during the exam, with fine but appropriate clothing and 3D features, but nothing too exceptional if you weren't staring at him for too long. Now that Xiao Pei was really examining the other ger, there was nothing average about him.

From his relaxed confidence to the sharp, intelligent glint in his eyes, the ger just seemed a little out of place. Even in a situation as terrifying as this, he seemed worried, but not panicked with his reputation on the line.
