Claire Eliamut

Black moon became a kind of police force. They used to distribute food, prevent fighting and help the one that needed, such as people who weren't able to develop venom resistance properly and are suffering from the side affects of insects bites. Some of these kids started dying on day 2 of me being outside the sell. Now only 742 people remain, 23 died and more are going to die if nothing is done.

Today has been my third day out of my sell. I have not being doing much just exercising and sleeping alot. I haven't given much though on Teros proposal and i'm bored as hell so I decided that it's time to meet the girl who is treating everyone. I got up from the rock i was sitting and started moving towards the center of the camp. There were more then 50 people lying there. They were crying and screaming in pain. They were surrounded by Black moon people who were trying to help them. Everyone of these kids had either redness, swelling, bruising or bleeding around the bites. Most of these kids were from the fifth corridor. I actually was surprised to hear this because the fifth opened about 3 weeks ago and them surviving for this long was a miracle.

I reached the center and there i saw a girl with white hairs, blue eyes, pale skin and pink lips. She looked exhausted and you could see her eye bags, it seemed like she needed a nap urgently.

I looked at her and said:

Vin: Excuse me! My name is Vin and i'm here to talk to you.

Girl: What! Talk to me about what.

Vin: About the infected.

Girl: What about it?

Vin: I want to help you cure them.

Girl: ow! Wow! You're the first person to come willingly to me to help them.

Vin: Well its hard to sleep at night while hearing their screams.

Girl: Well thats true. I'm Claire Eliamut.

My heart skipped a beat when she tald me her name. I because lost in my thoughts and didn't heard a thing she said after that.

Claire: Hey! Hey! Are you listening?

Vin: Uh! Yeah! yeah! i was listening.

Claire: So as i was saying you could help me find herbs in this cave.

Vin: Wait! what were you treating them with?

Claire: Well i'm not an expert but first i removed any tight clothes that were near the wound. After that i tried different things like cutting the bitten areas but it only ended worsening the conditions of my patients. So all i was doing was using water to clean their bites everyday and calming them down so that the venom would spread slowly.

Since the Black moon has come to help now i can go look for the herbs if this cave have any, to cure these childrens.

Vin: Wow! You did a lot. So what kind of plants are we looking for.

Claire: Any kind, as i told you i nit an expert. I have never done this before. Right now I'm just hoping to find a plant smash it, mix it in water and give them that hoping it could cure them.

Vin: What if it's a poisiones plant?

Claire: They are going to die soon anyway so it doesn't matter. But if it works i could save many lifes.

She grabbed a bag which she made from the clothes the dead were wearing and we started walking toward the walls of the cave.

Vin: How were you doing this for three weeks straight?

Claire: I got out of the second corridor about a week and 3 days ago and after i saw these ill people i couldn't stop myself from helping them. So i found the sick people and grouped them in the center after that point i'm treating them nonstop.

Vin said this smiling: You are a very kind person.

Claire: What you mean by that.

Vin: I mean i would have left them to die but you extended a helping hand to them. That takes courage and i can respect that.

Claire: You're a good talker you know that.

Vin kept smiling.

Claire: So who were you before this.

Vin thought for a bit and said: I was a poor beggar and one day while begging i was kidnapped and brought here.

Claire: Oh! That's sad.

After a small silence Vin asked: So who were you?

Claire: I was born in a small village called Eliamut. My father was a doctor. His dream was to have a "Boy" to whom he could pass all his knowledge. But instead he got me. My father hated me and refused to teach me anything. So when the next kid was born he sold me to a slave master and that's how i end up here.

Vin: So where did you learn all this?

Claire: I used to secretly observe him while working and picked up on a couple of things.

Vin: It's a shame, he let a diamond like you slip right through his hands.

She paused for a sec and then vin added.

Vin: Hey! That thing's green. Is it a plant.

Claire took a deep breath then looked at him and said: No, that's just Algae.

Vin: Then what are we exactly looking for?

Claire frustrated: I told you i don't know. Mushrooms maybe of flowers. Anything but this.

Time passed and teh day of the food delivery came. In these past 4 day me and Claire because good friends. We scouted all the cave but we weren't able to find anything plant base except for Algae. It was quite disappointing. We hoped that in this delivery we could get some medicine to treat the sick.

I also gave a good thought on Teros proposal. It was a tempting and sooner or latest more group like this will be formed. I thought of waiting for more time but he could cancel his proposal later. So i decided to join the Black Moon today.
