Chapter 22

“What is going on here?” Harold asked angrily. Robert Louis raised his head up immediately and stood up, pretending like he was not aware of the fact that Harold and the head warrior were already in the prison.

Robert Louis stood up and immediately he lowered his head without saying anything, the head warrior was so pissed that he wish Harold can just get rid of Robert Louis immediately.

Harold was even more frustrated when he remembered Robert Louis cannot say anything. Harold has other political things to deal with than to be coming here to visit a dumb idiot.

“Why do t we just get rid of him once and for all.” Harold was shocked to heard what the head warrior said to him, he looked at him very well.

Harold remembered there was a time the head warrior went to visit Robert Louis and he was about to kill him from what he heard. Harold now concluded in his mind that the head warrior must feel threatened by the presence of Robert Louis.

Harold turned to look at Robert Louis he turned around and walked away. The head warrior was upset because Harold did not fulfill his will of getting rid of Robert Louis.

While they were both walking away Harold was trying to see if what he is thinking is actually true. He was trying to know why the head warrior is threatened by Robert Louis presence.

The head warrior was not comfortable with the fact that Harold is being very nice to the stranger and the other day Isabelle came to visit him, it looks like they have known for a very long time with the way she was defending him that day.

It’s threatening to him, the fact that Isabelle and her dad are being nice to the stranger. Harold turned back to look at the head warrior and he noticed that he was in deep thought.

“What is he thinking about now?” Harold asked himself while looking at the head warriors face. The head warrior finally came back to present he saw the way Harold was staring at him.

“Sir I…” Harold stretched his hand to show the head warrior that he is not interested in what the head warrior was about to say.

Harold continued walking and he concluded in his mind what he will do in a situation like this.

“That was close.” Robert Louis said to himself and put his hand on his chest. He can’t believe they would have gotten here and not see him.

While he was in Isabelle’s room, her personal warrior guard came into her room and Robert Louis hid somewhere immediately,

When she asked him what he was doing in her room he told her that he was there to check if she is okay, that her dad is on his way to the prison so he came to check if she is okay on her room.

She told him she was perfectly fine and immediately he walked out of the room. Robert Louis came out if the place he was hiding and sat on the bed.

“That was close.” Robert Louis said to Isabelle and put her hand on her chest. Isabelle also smiled and looked at him.

It was then the both of them remembered the warrior said that Harold was heading to the prison. The both of them turned to look at each other.

“The prison!” They said in unison. Robert Louis stood up immediately and walked out of her room, he passed the same way he passed when he was going into the room.

Before he left the both of them stared at each other lovingly.

“I’ll be back.” Robert Louis said to her before he left. And they both released each other’s hand.

“What would I have told them if they didn’t meet me in the room.” Robert Louis said to himself and all of a sudden he remembered his meeting with Isabelle.

“I wish to see her again.” Robert Louis said to himself as he remembered how beautiful she looked when the both of them met. She is not proud neither is she pompous she doesn’t act like her father in anyway.

Harold got to his chamber and he remembered how the head warrior has always been desperate to get rid of the young stranger that was brought here few days ago.

“Why is he so secure about that young man.” Harold said to himself, since Harold has been looking for a way to get rid of the head warrior he felt it’ll be wise for him to use this stranger to get the head warrior.

Isabelle was still in shock she finally met her dream guy, she don’t know him before but she can tell he is a very calm, brave and intelligent. And what attracted her to him the most is the fact that he could look at her dad in the eye without fear.

“He got me the day he did that.” Isabelle said to herself and put her hand on her cheeks she was blushing so much that her cheeks were about to fall out.

“I want to see him again.” Isabelle said to herself and turned to look at the place he passé when she first saw him in her room. For the first time she felt really happy since her friend died no one has ever made her feel very happy like she felt few minutes ago when she saw Robert Louis in her room.

Harold summoned the chiefs of the nation and they all had a meeting, some were opposing to his opinion while some were agreeing to it. And at the end of the day Harold had the final day.

“Release the stranger!” Harold said aloud and everywhere became silent. The head warrior heard what Harold said and he was wondering if he heard correctly or he was already hearing wrong things.

The head warrior came forward and Harold looked at him very well Harold could see how confused he looked when he was told to go and release the stranger.
