Holding onto the golden rail with my eyes closed, I drew in the cool evening air that danced on my bare skin and told myself that I needed to calm down and remember why I had made an effort to get all dolled up in the first place, I wanted to have fun and live a little despite knowing that people would gossip about me. I was still young, very young and I needed to have fun once in a while.

When I opened my eyes they came in contact with the big red moon that outshone even the brightest stars in the sky. It was a breathtaking sight to behold, oozing peace and tranquility.

"I hate you." I narrowed my eyes as I spoke to it as though it were a person who could hear and maybe respond. "Don't even look at me like that." Huffing I made my way back into the room but just at the entrance, my gaze fell directly on him and he was already staring back at me, eyes filled with a dark desire to consume.
