"Hmm?" I asked confused as to what he was talking about.
"I never knew what love was or how it felt till you." He rephrased his statement.
Sighing he sat up and leaned against the headboard, mimicking his actions I sat up but on the opposite so that I could stare directly into his sorrow-filled orbs as he talked.
"Growing up I never experienced love, both my parents loathed me." A tear fell from his eyes but he was quick to wipe it off. "They blamed me for ruining their lives."
I frowned at the irony.
"My father hated me for having been conceived and my mother never wanted to look at me, she said I looked like the devil him." He sniffed. "They weren't the only ones though, just like them, my grandparents, uncles, cousins, and aunts despised me too."
I couldn't help but frown even more as he kept talking.
