A Date About The Past

Leo laughed holding his mother.

"What is wrong, mom?" he asked.

"I guess I took too long " she cried.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"It's your father, he has moved on " she cried.

Leo rubbed her back softly. Wondering if his plan didn't work.

He needed to do something before it was late.

"Don't worry Mother, you still have me " he said.

Enzo sat facing his new girlfriend. She had a nervous smile on her face as she looked back at him.

"You look nervous, Lia. Trying taking calm breaths " whispered Frank.

"Am sorry I can't, been trying but sitting in front of him is already so huge for me " she said.

Enzo sighed, he had not said anything since they were introduced. His eyes gazed at her face, down to her body in silence.

"Enzo try being a better actor than you are now. It's making her nervous " said Frank.

Enzo sighed again.

Lia blinked taking a sip from her drink.
