1. Before the storm

I'll keep this part of my life short, as I have little recollection of this at the time of writing. I was given the name Aluber when I was born, same as my father's, which would give me a lot of trouble during my later life.

What I remember is having a twin sister, her name was Cartesia and we were very close, as our parents were always busy with work. Though I can't really complain about them, since we were always taken care of by the servants on our palace.

One of the few vivid memories I have of this time is us two being teased about growing up and marrying each other, as it was custom for demon twins. We were just kids, so we didn't really know better and laughed it off.

My somewhat peaceful childhood was cut short by me being suddenly teleported somewhere else while playing with Cartesia in our gardens. I ended up alone in an unknown forest at only 8 years old, being a demon, my body was resilient but I that was all I had going for me.
