Except for attribute attacks, any other kind of attack would likely have much of its force dissipated. This was the new ability brought by the tentacle to the armor.

With the current abilities of Shaun, even if he were to face a desperate counterattack from a mutated giant squid, he wouldn't suffer serious injuries. At least 40% of the force would be absorbed by his armor.

After hunting the mutated giant squid king, the two avoided further confrontations, relying on their skill to conceal their presence, which made it rare for high-ranking kings to detect them.
