The Corpse in the Starry Sky

"Exploring the cosmos?" Shaun began to feel puzzled. In theory, the thriving first-generation civilizations should already have the capability to venture into the stars. The vast universe was bound to become their new frontier. There didn't seem to be any reason to oppose it.

The development of the first-generation civilizations had reached a bottleneck, and in order to break through once more, such changes were necessary. Each leader possessed extraordinary strength, sufficient to handle most crisis situations.

The leader opposing the idea finally spoke up, "Have you all forgotten our ancient teachings?"

An elderly man's expression turned stern, and he suddenly exuded a terrifying aura. Like an enraged male lion, his gaze fixed firmly on the strongest leader on the opposite side.

"The current strength of our civilization has indeed advanced significantly, but that's technological progress, not an enhancement of our own abilities!"
