Harry should have known. At the end of the day, everyone is your enemy. There are no true allies. Everyone will betray you for their own benefits.
Eventually, you are alone.
Cutting off contact with Mason means that Harry can no longer use his contacts.
Atleast most of the people who work under him will leave JTV with him. That's what Harry thinks.
Emily: You are leaving JTV?
She was still in shock. When Harry broke the news about his resignation to everyone in the office, it came as a surprise to everyone.
Harry: I will start my own Television Channel. I hear that Fox TV is not doing so well these days, thanks to us. So I am currently in the process of negotiating with Fox for an acquisition.
Now Emily was having a heart attack. She knew her boss was a billionaire due to his investments and the Theatre business but buying out an already existing TV Company? And that too from Fox? Are you made or what?!
Harry: I really like the look on your face. So my question is, if I start a new TV company, will you all leave JTV and come to my channel?
There were some whispers heard throughout the office as Harry looked at his employees with hope. He saved them from getting jobless so at least he should deserve this.
Emily was the first one to speak.
Emily: I am in boss. Before you came, I was working in a shitty apartment but now, we live in a big bunglow. So I will follow you to whatever new company you are going to start.
Emily's decision started a chain reaction. One by one, everyone started to voice their confirmations. Harry could feel his eyes getting moist. He felt like a proud Asian mother watching her son present his report card to her. In this case, the report card was full of As.
Harry: You made me cry!

Harry was currently sitting in front of the CEO of Fox Studios, Karl Thrisman, discussing the acquisition of Fox TV. Harry had 'voluntarily' resigned from JTV and on the same day, gave them a copyright infringement warning about the shows currently airing.
This was his second biggest bargaining chip other than money.
Karl: So you say that you hold the rights to all the shows currently airing on JTV?
Harry: Yes.
Karl was surprised. Harry had to stop himself from smiling seeing Karl's expression.
Karl: You know that I can't let you get the entire TV department, right?
Harry: I am not asking for a complete acquisition, I just want the majority stake.
Karl: Fox TV is making us heavy losses and that's why we decided to accept a meeting with you. If you want the majority stake, that will require money.
Harry: I am something of a rich billionaire. They even published my interview in the Forbes Top 100 Richest Youngest Men in the World. So money's not a problem.
Karl: That's good! Now comes the next thing, will you manage Fox TV or be a shareholder?
Harry: I will not be the manager. Nor will I be a producer. My former assistant, Emily, I believe is quite capable of being the Manager. I will support her from behind.
Karl: Why are you not being the manager?
Harry: Because I don't want to. I am thinking of stepping into Hollywood soon.
Karl laughed when Harry mentioned Hollywood.
Karl: Hollywood? You are rich so I guess that it will work for you. Making movies?
Harry: And directing them too.
Now Karl was genuinely shocked. Director? Even if you are rich, not anyone can direct movies. It will be a disaster.
Harry: Don't worry. It will made from my own money. I will just need Fox to distribute it.
Karl: We can work out the details for that later. First TV right?
Harry: Majority stake and Emily being the new manager of FunTime TV.
Karl: FunTime TV? New name?
Harry: I have this whole FunCinemas business so I decided to expand on the Fun brand.
Karl: That's fine by me.
