Alice almost choked at the echo of their chilly voices. But could not even make a sound and didn't know what to say or how to react to the response they gave her.

Goodbye, My contracted Husband

Alice slept quietly all through the night and with the help of the drinks, she couldn't get her head up and out of the bed even as she has woken up. She waited for Theo to come knowing fully well that he will be knocking at her door as soon as possible.

Few minutes later, Theo came knocking at Alice's door as expected. He accessed the room even without Alice responding to him, just like Theo would always make Alice a hangover soup just for drinking to stupor last night, here he was with a place of handover soup and some like side dishes. Alice laid still, she didn't move her body not because she didn't want to but because she couldn't. The headache she had was a result of last night's scream and stress from the dinner house. To know that Alice came back only to engage herself in a drinking section made everything worse.
