Chapter 6

William looked around in amazement, shocked that he had managed to cast the spell. The rush of energy still filled his body, and he felt a little out of control.

He tried to settle himself, letting out a long breath. He looked around, watching as the animals floating in the sky slowly descended back down to the ground. They landed gently on their paws, looking at him with wonder before slowly wandering off.

He took in the sight and the feeling of having accomplished something so incredible. He truly had a lot of power with this crystal of chaos!

William took in the moment, his eyes wide with excitement. His crystal was glowing with energy, and the wind around him was still moving slightly.

"Huh?" William looked over to his left, noticing a young boy sitting nearby. William didn't remember this boy being there before. He turned back to the sky, looking for inspiration for a new spell.

Suddenly, the wind picked up in pace again, blowing harder and harder. The trees began to sway and the grass rustled wildly. The wind grew so strong, William had to lean against it to stay standing.

William gritted his teeth as the wind continued to blow, shaking the trees and causing the grass to move more and more. He looked at the chaotic crystal in his palm as the wind grew in strength, pushing him back and causing his body to shake.

He had to focus his energy, regain his control, and stop the wind from increasing in force. He felt the crystal growing more stable in his hand. He had to keep it in control.

William concentrated on the crystal, focusing on how it felt. He took more deep breaths, letting the air escape from his lungs to calm himself. With each breath, the crystal glowed slightly brighter, and he felt the wind die down.

He was doing it! He had calmed the wind down to a gentle breeze. The boy nearby let out a breath and stood up. He looked at William, who looked back at him and nodded, smiling calmly.

William still felt the crystal in his palm, feeling the light it generated. He had gained back control over it all and could feel his chaotic energy as his own once more.

He let out another breath and looked around, his mind and heart racing. The feeling of control he had over this power was intoxicating, and he didn't want it to end.

He let his eyes look to the sky again, this time looking up at the clouds above him. He felt so alive with this power in his hands.

He took in the sky and the feeling of being alive, the wind gently blowing and his chaotic energy surging through him. He thought of the limitless possibilities, and he had so many ideas of what he could do next.

He felt the crystal in his palm, its light glowing softly. He felt strong, and he felt control. He felt capable of anything!

William thought for a moment, the possibilities running through his mind. And then an idea hit him. He could try to manipulate the clouds, and change their shapes and movements! With a little focus, he could make the clouds move! He could make a cloud shaped like a wolf! He could make a cloud shaped like anything he wanted!

He let out a breath and focused his energy, trying to push his chaotic powers out of his palm. The clouds were just outside of his reach, but he knew he could do it. He was so close! He just needed to make one last push!

William's mind was full of anticipation, waiting for the clouds to move. His focus was on the sky above him, his eyes focused on making the clouds move. With every ounce of strength he had, he pushed his energy to the clouds above.

All of a sudden, a small cloud moved, slowly floating upward. William narrowed his eyes in focus, the cloud still moving. He let out a sigh of relief as he looked at the clouds, trying to make another cloud float upward.

Another cloud moved! It was subtle, but William could feel his energy affecting the clouds. He tried again to make another cloud move, but the clouds just stayed put.

A small sigh of annoyance escaped William's lips. He had made one small cloud move, but that was it. He wanted the clouds to move in any direction he wanted. He wanted to manipulate their shapes, make them dance in the wind! He wanted to fly in the clouds if he felt like it! And he could do all of that. He just needed to take his control to the next level.

William looked at the sky again, focusing his energy one more time on making the clouds move. His eyes were full of determination, and he had so many ideas of what he could do.

He let his chaotic energy fill him up again, his palm now glowing brighter than before. He felt his powers growing in his palm. He pushed his energy out to the clouds once more, and to his surprise, several clouds quickly moved, swirling around as the wind slowly blew them around.

William's eyes widened in awe. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The clouds were moving, dancing around in the sky above him! He felt so alive!

His chaotic energy was growing, and he felt more and more powerful. He continued to push his energy out, controlling the clouds above him. The breeze was gentle, but the clouds moved in any direction he decided. It was like he was controlling the weather itself!

As William looked back to the sky, he had an idea. He had controlled the clouds already, making them change directions. But what would happen if he made them change shapes entirely? Could he use his power to control the sky into creating his own rain clouds?

He focused his energy again, pushing it out towards the clouds above. They began to move out of place, reforming into a large patch of clouds. The sky became cloudy, creating the perfect storm for William to try his new idea..
