The magic tub

Once Al was gone I remembered that I had forgotten to ask him for my belongings, what Magdou had left for me.

I sighed and made a mental note of that when next I saw him in the morning.

I stretched and walked around the room taking on everything.

It was like someone still slept in this room.

He said his parents had died during the plague that meant that his mother hadn't been here for at least eight hundred years.

Maybe he had his servants working well to keep it clean or maybe he had someone who spent her nights here.

Where the hell was this sudden jealousy coming from?

There was a soft rapt at the door.

"Come in." I said.

The door was opened and three girls came in.

One was carrying a large tray of food.

Another was with fruits and wine.

"Gods all this food for me?" I asked astonished.

I had told him that I wasn't hungry.

Then I noticed that they had all bowed to me in greeting.
