ACCUSATIONS

His eyes were blazing red and he scanned me, growling like a prey who had its victim.

I wanted to yank free from him because I was scared.

But then I slowed down and realized that it was him. He looked as scary as he was when he had saved me but without the horns and all that.

He was just frightening.

So I took in a deep breath and reached out to him, my hand gently touching his face.

He flinched and growled and I took my hand away.

Then I slowly went back.

"It's okay Al." I cooed. "It's me."

And I gently touched his cheek and he seemed to refrain but he very gently let my hand graze his face.

"It's okay." I told him.

Then his face stayed still and he rested as I gently caressed his face. His eyes reverted from being red to the pitch black it was.

And I knew I had him back.

He blinked at me.

"Gods Angel." He said.

Then he rose up to his feet and took a step back from me.
