I sat down once again with Connor, who promised to give me a bit of a sneak preview about this whole nationwide pack event coming up next month. I figured while we were at it, I’d get him to explain to me what a pack really is, and what it really means.


Him: I’m actually really glad you asked about this. I was worried that you all would be joining packs without knowing what you were getting into.


Me: Oh, totally. I think a lot of us are very nervous. Is it going to be dangerous, all those wolves together at the same time?


Him: It might be, but I’m not that worried. We’re holding it halfway through the month so that the moon isn’t a problem for those of you who haven’t gotten a good hold of your wolves yet. Hopefully, by the time the moon is full again, you’ll all have alphas that can help you.


Me: That’s one of the key things I keep hearing. What is it, exactly, that an alpha does for their pack?
