What Are You Going To Do?!

Nicholas was working overtime at night after returning from the gay bar. He felt no trace of regret by leaving his wife behind. To him, it gave him enough peace of mind.

"NICHOLAS!" Rosa knocked the door of the study hard. "Go and get her back, I'm warning you!"

No, scratch that. There won't be peace of mind in his life as long as ladies keep surrounding him.

He pressed the bridge of his nose as his brows furrowed. He stopped typing and leaned back.

"Mom, let me work."

"Work?!" Rosa was so angry that she laughed aloud. "Is work more important than your wife's life?!"

"Yes," Nicholas said bluntly, not hiding the traces of indifference from his voice.

"You-!" Rosa was about to speak and scold her son some more when John, the butler of the house, came up once again behind her and said, "Madam, someone's at the door."

"Alright."

The woman walked away, letting the young man inside the study room heave a sigh of relief.
