A Big Trouble

Rosa's eyes widened when she saw this scene. Of course, she knew that the bar wasn't a good place for people like her daughter-in-law, who was too childish and innocent, but she didn't think someone would harm her unknowingly!

She quickly walked over and held her daughter-in-law's hands, finding a glass of water from the closest table. She poured it all over Abigail's body, trying her best to soothe the injury caused all of a sudden.

"Abigail, dear, are you alright?"

Abigail shook her head as tears rolled out of her eyes. Her lower lips quivered as she looked up and said, "Mom, it hurts."

Her voice was full of pain and trembled as she gripped her mother-in-law's clothes tightly as if she had become a little kitten in trouble. Rosa's maternal love instantly rose high as she turned and glared at the young man's direction, who had long disappeared to God knows where.
