It went on like that until he couldn't hold it anymore.

"Because I clearly hide well." Anne also felt helpless in this regard.

Truthfully, it wasn't that she was hiding deliberately, but Abigail before was so self-centered that even though Anne was obvious, the girl never noticed it before. Sure, they often talked about William, especially ever since Katherine became his girlfriend.
