Regardless of how determined Yu Qingyu was, running away was easier said than done. Under vigilant surveillance of his predecessor's mother, two days had passed, yet not a single opportunity to escape had arisen. The only times when the woman was not watching him were in the morning and in the evening when she meditated. And even then, there was still Yeshenna's lover, Akula, for Yu Qingyu to worry about.

Naturally, he could just break into a run and try to get away at any point in time. He wasn't bound, or restrained in any other way. Moreover, he was physically fit. Not that Yeshenna or Akula weren't, but he should be able to outrun them.
