Chapter 20 The Matter of That Year

Thankfully, my uncle and aunt have always been reasonable. Every time Su Rui bullied me, they would take my side, Su Jian. This led to Su Rui feeling that her parents were biased towards me and consequently, she intensified her efforts to trouble me.

Out of respect for my uncle and aunt, I have always been very patient with her and never quibbled.

I've given in to her too many times throughout our lives.
