Zhou Lu glanced at her, "I haven't been around here in a long time. This restaurant seems to always be busy. Want to try it?"
Su Jian looked skeptical, "Aren't you always advocating for a healthy diet? You don't like deep-fried foods, right?"
Zhou Lu was unaffected, "It's okay to try once in a while."
Su Jian thought he wasn't hungry and was just accompanying her so she could eat, so she cheerfully walked in.
She ordered their signature fried chicken and others that she liked and placed the order directly. She didn't ask Zhou Lu, knowing for sure that he wouldn't eat any of it.
But when the fried chicken arrived, Zhou Lu unexpectedly tried a few pieces.
Su Jian stared at him in surprise and then asked curiously, "How does it taste?"
Zhou Lu's expression was nonchalant, "Not too bad."
"That's right, actually it tastes even better with some chili flakes." Su Jian knew he couldn't handle spicy food, so she purposely added extra chili flakes.
