Girl Down the Street

It was not long ago since that day.

Everyone gives me a weird look. Concerned, they look concerned. Though I still have gotten no clue why it seems the summer breeze has come its way. I have gotten used to the extra attention I'm getting. I have him with me, and that is all I need.

"Hi miss? everything going ok?"the lady in the shop asked.

She's a friend of mine. I met her a month ago while when I needed some groceries delivered to my door. My dear husband was sick that day, and time was against us. he was fine after that and only had to stay in the hospital later for a few days. It wasn't the happiest time, but we got through it together and stronger than ever!

He doesn't complain about the messy floors or the unwashed dishes anymore. He doesn't tell me to get him a beer or turn on the TV for him. He would even cook for me every other day now. Life has been all the wonders.

As Im walking out with all my groceries, I accidentally overhear rumors about a woman that live on the same street at me what an coincidence! So of course, I position myself to be just close enough to overhear...

"That crazy woman we called crazy for years is actually crazy!" the first guy said.

"I have only been out of town for a little nore than 1 month, what could have possibly happened with her" said the second guy.

"her husband that she married a year back was finally done with her abusive actions that repeatedly happened" the first guy followed up

This is something new. I do not remember any crazy lady on my street, nor was anyone married other than me.

"he tried to get out of it and leave, but that was the wrong move at the wrong time. I heard she ripped him apart in the washroom and tried to stuff her husband's body down the pipes!!" one said.

"There is so many different rumors out there who knows what she did, but since then she's been going phyco, talking to air, and laughing randomly in public" another said

I was tired of listening to nonsense, how could anyone possibly do such a horrible thing!

As I get back home I found my lovely husband sleeping in our bedroom. He has gotten a lot sleeper after that wave of sickness.

As I walk up the long stairs to the bedroom, the halls were smelling weirdly again. It is probably the pipes.

"I'm homeee honesyy ~"

I called as I entered the room. the bedsheets were wet and his skin color is getting paler than ever, but that is alright, a bath will fix everything...
