A Stepbrother's Troubles

I didn't want to bump into Zachary. He always had a way of embarrassing me. So on Friday, I lied to my mother that I was busy catching up on my mentor's topics recently and didn't have time to go home.

I had always been a good girl, so my mother was very assured of me. After reminding me to find a balance between work and relaxation, she hung up the phone.

Seeing that I was unhappy these days, Yelena took me to the concert to let go of my inhibitions.

It was already late when the concert had ended. After sending Yelena to the taxi, I continued to wait for my ride.

A tattooed man standing by the road asked for my WhatsApp contact. I waved my hand and didn't give it to him.

"Just do me a favor, pretty girl. I made a bet with my friend. It's no fun for you to act like this," the tattooed man said.

His behavior and tone made me uncomfortable.

I ignored him and planned to wait for a taxi somewhere else.

However, he directly made a move and held my arm.
