Bloudence University was in a neighboring city. On Friday night, the debate team set off.
Theodore happened to have an exam that night, so he didn't say goodbye to me in person.
Actually, I didn't think there was anything wrong. Yet, he apologized several times and said he would make it up to me.
I felt guilty, for I should have been the one to apologize to him.
However, I didn't expect that his compensation was to wait for me outside the hall after the competition and present me with a bouquet of flowers.
I held the flower, and he held me in his arms and spun around several times.
"Jaz, your boyfriend spoils you so much!"
"You're making the single people jealous!"
Even the teacher looked at Theodore and me with a smile.
Theodore smiled sweetly, but I wanted to cry.
I didn't even know what to say to him when I saw his smiling face.
"Jaz, this is my alma mater. I'll show you around."
