I kept peeping at him as we were eating.
Ivan silently pushed my favorite dishes over.
Susan and Mandy exchanged a look, lowered their heads, and smiled.
I was familiar with their smile. They were amazed.
However, we hadn't confirmed our relationship yet, and everything was slightly vague.
After dinner, we, the girls, planned to watch a television show together. Ivan was heading home to write his thesis, and Susan asked me to send him downstairs.
In the elevator, the atmosphere was a little tense.
"I-I'm going back to my hometown for New Year tomorrow afternoon."
He wouldn't be here after New Year. Ivan had to go to the next city for his graduation thesis defense. I wondered if we would ever meet again in the future.
"Okay."
Looking at his cold face, I swallowed back all the words I was about to say.
After accompanying him to his BMW, I couldn't help but ask when I saw him taking out the car keys, "Ivan, don't you have anything to say to me?"
