My eyelashes trembled. "You remember me?"
"I do. When I was a freshman, I even asked my senior to invite you to join the Badminton Club, but you refused."
My parents were both badminton players. Naturally, I started playing badminton under their influence.
Every weekend, I would go to the badminton court under the bridge near my home to challenge those with good physical strength and skills.
That was when I met Ryan.
His skills were excellent, and his physical strength was good. He was also using the same racket as me, so we fought to our hearts' content.
We agreed to play together every Saturday morning.
I bragged to him that my father would get Douglas to sign on my racket as my birthday gift.
Then, I broke the promise.
My parents had a car accident for driving tired because they were in a hurry to come home to celebrate my birthday with me.
From then on, I could never pick up a racket again.
