The Prison of Eden

18

It was April, and the fresh air outside the house was mixed with a faint floral fragrance. The blue roses were tossing in the wind, like girls dancing in a sea of flowers.

I walked out of the garden on the cobblestone path and went straight to the car.

After everything was done, I looked at Christopher, who was lying on the couch. His body moved slightly, and it seemed that he was about to wake up.

Hence, I got out of the car and hid behind it to observe Christopher's behavior better.

He didn't expect me to escape. I had numbed his nerves by being obedient these days that he slackened his control over me.

After he woke up, he started to look for me at home like crazy.

I was afraid that my stupid brother wouldn't know I had escaped, so I left the door open.

However, he still couldn't find me even after searching for a long time.

That left me with no choice but to lend him a helping hand.
