He made four dishes with the beef and mutton I brought to him. There are beef stew, meatballs, shepherd's pie, and minestrone soup.
The meat had no unpleasant smell, as they were all fresh beef and mutton, and the tasty aroma of the meat lingered in the air.
"Wanna have a drink?" he asked.
I nodded but did not drink the wine he poured for me or try the dishes he cooked.
My purpose here was not to eat or drink.
That day, he was drunk and even finished the dishes on the table.
He told me a lot about his past with his wife. He told me the hardships they faced when they gave birth to Quame. They could not find it in their heart to discipline Quame. However, he told me that he regretted it so much as Quame grew up and became disobedient because they spoiled him so much.
As he spoke, he began to weep and started begging me.
"If you know where Quame is, please tell me. I beg you. I promise you I won't take any legal action on it."
