One of my students committed suicide during the class.

Earlier that year, I was transferred to a newly established high school to teach students in Grade 11.

It happened in a self-study class.

Because it was a self-study class, I was not so strict with the discipline in the class.

Every few minutes, I would look up and sweep around the classroom. Every time, a girl attracted my attention.

Her name was Colette Jones.

In the past ten minutes, she had been staring at herself carefully in a small mirror.

I would have thought it was not a big deal if she hadn't done it so often. After all, she was in her teenage years.

But she kept doing this for more than 10 minutes.
