Deadly Sketching

The driver was not in a hurry to set off. He looked at me through the rearview mirror with a strange expression and asked, "Where are you going?"

"The Peach Garden in the western suburbs."

The Peach Garden wasn't really full of peach blossoms. This was just a commercial stunt for tourism projects, but the Peach Garden was indeed a place of great scenery.

The driver tightened his lips and shook his head, saying he couldn't drive me there. He rolled down the window and asked as he looked at Mark, "What's going on?"

Mark explained to the driver with an apologetic face that we were a couple who were quarreling.

As a result, the driver told me to get out of his car no matter how I begged him.

I had no choice but to get out of the car, but my intuition told me that there was a conspiracy hidden under Mark's warm smile, and it was against me. Although I didn't know what it was, I was reluctant to fall into his trap like this.
