Letters From the Moon

The traffic moved slowly. By the time I arrived at Laurant's house, it was almost noon.

I didn't forget to buy a bunch of sunflowers from the flower shop nearby.

I gently knocked on his door. In the few seconds I waited, my heart was about to jump out of my chest.

The door opened, and a beautiful woman poked out her head.

She looked at me with a smile and asked politely, "You've come to see Lauri?"

"Yes, I want to see him."

"I'm his sister." She step aside and let me in. It seemed she was afraid that I would misunderstand her. She added in a cute tone, "I'm his biological sister."

I chuckled and nodded. "You've told me about it before."

She tilted her head and looked bewildered. She couldn't remember when she had told me anything like that.

Yes, everyone was in the same space now. Since Laurant hadn't passed away, I would not meet her at the cemetery.

That part of the story was certainly not in her memory.
