On the second day that Max was being chased, there was almost a car accident on his way to school.

A boy named Kendall Sanchez saved him under the wheel.

After saying thank you, Max left.

He left...

Kendall was stunned. He quickly pulled himself together and made an encounter in the canteen of the school.

"Hey, it's you! You were almost hit by a car on Fulton Road, and then I risked my life..."

Max replied, "Oh."

Holding back his temper, Kendall put on a false smile and said, "I saved you. Can you give me a little more reaction?"

"I appreciated your help just now."

Kendall's face darkened. "So, then? Shouldn't you treat me to lunch?"

"Yes, I should."

A smile appeared on Kendall's face. He thought that Max had become clever.

"But I don't want to."

Max waved his hand coldly. "Excuse me. I'm going to get some food."

I thought the reason why Max could survive in the ninth world was simply that he had no manners.
