I had been sent to work in the laboratory by the court.

To maintain the balance between orcs and humans, there was a border court that specialized in disputes between humans and orcs.

The border court would punish the party that made the mistake so that the orc or the human would not be dominant enough to abuse their power to bully the other.

A long time ago, the court had noticed the abnormalities in the laboratory. A steady stream of orcs was sent in and then disappeared.

On the surface, everything was legal. But on the inside, it was like a rotten tree root.

The court wanted to ban it, but there were no conclusive evidence. So they told me to lurk in the laboratory and collect all the evidence.
