Sitting in the car, I looked at Ryland and suddenly remembered something. "When we first met, you said you had tried not to follow the process of the dream, so you could control the dream earlier than me, didn't you?"

Ryland stiffened and took a few steps to the side. After calming down, he said, "Yes."

"And I found something else." He coughed and said, "I'll take you to see it tonight."

"Can you not tell me now?"

Ryland seemed to have thought of something, his face red. He cleared his throat and said, "No."

"Alright then."

I was confused, but I didn't ask further.

After tossing and turning for a long time, I finally sat on the sofa of that house again.

I saw that Ryland was getting milk again, and I called him.

Ryland looked at me with a smile, closed the refrigerator door, and said, "Let's go."

"Where are we going?"
