After realizing that things might not be so simple, I frantically thought of a few passwords that I had used.
I was worried before going to bed, so I looked at them for a while.
When I came to this house again in the dream, my goal was much clearer.
We went to the study together and keyed in the passwords.
But we still couldn't open it.
I sighed dejectedly, "Forget it. Let's go to the basement and choose a painting."
Ryland lowered his eyes, looking a little unwilling to give up. He was still trying.
After a while, he nodded and said, "Okay, let's go."
I stood up from my chair. The chair slid on the floor with a harsh sound, and then some books fell off the bookshelf. I couldn't dodge in time and fell into a familiar embrace.
The books all fell on Ryland.
Although it was a dream, I knew that these injuries would be brought to the real world the next day.
For a moment, I was a little nervous. Just as I was about to turn to look at Ryland, everything went dark.
