Since my hand was almost healed, I asked him to have a meal to thank him for taking care of me these past few days.

I chose a restaurant based on the description my best friend gave me, a place she and he often went to.

I ordered a few dishes according to the menu my best friend sent me.

He looked at me in surprise, "How did you know what I like to eat?"

I pretended to be surprised too, holding the menu innocently, "Oh? Do you like these dishes? I like them too."

He pursed his lips and smiled as if he didn't doubt me at all. "It seems like we are on the same wavelength."

I smiled at him and exchanged a look with the waiter, "Yes, it does."

We had finished eating when the waiter came over with a gift box.

When the waiter placed it in front of us, Noah looked at me in surprise.

"What is this?" he asked out of curiosity.

I smiled at him and nodded towards the box, "Open it and see."

As he opened it, I noticed his hands shaking slightly.
