Odyssey of the Red Spider Lily

The hospital always smelled of disinfectant.

I strutted in my high heels. The nurse handed me the receipt. I nodded and paid the bill.

"Are you not going to see your brother?"

The nurse asked cautiously. I stared into her eyes and was lost in my thought for a moment.

How long had it been since then?

Zachary went to prison, and Elvis lost his mind.

Indeed, Elvis had gone crazy.

He witnessed his mother hanged herself to death.

One day, when Abbie was cleaning up the room, she found the two letters. After reading them, she seemed to have recovered some of her memories.

So she left a note on the ground and hung herself on the swaying lamp above the dining table.

"Ten years, dead and living dim and draw apart. I don't try to remember, but forgetting is hard."

That night, Elvis locked himself in the room and hugged me. He began to go crazy and was afraid that I would leave him.

Later, he was diagnosed with the same disease as his mother.
