Falling for His Explicit Flirtations

Paisley asked, "What are you thinking about?"

Rubbing somewhere between my eyebrows, I said, "I'm thinking about how to coax a child."

After Henry hugged me that day, I must have been in a daze. Touching his head, I said, "I treat you as my younger brother. Of course I should remember what you like."

My words stunned Henry. I took the opportunity to run away.

Since things had developed to this point, I would play dumb by failing to get what he meant. He cared about the fact that I was familiar with Caleb and our past. He was hostile to Caleb.

I originally thought he had grown up and was so sensible that he knew how to protect me.

Now it seemed that he was too sensible!

Fortunately, he didn't come to me after I ran away. The next day, I was busy with other work. Otherwise, I would be too embarrassed to see him.

When he approached me, I didn't reject him, which was not a good sign.
