I was filled with regret and pain.

I was afraid that Daniel would give up on Maya. Fortunately, he didn't.

Maya was sent to a sanatorium in the suburbs, on the 26th floor.

She lay on the bed as if she was asleep.

My eyes were blurred, and warm tears were about to overflow.

The next day, I went home in a daze.

Daniel looked at me. He wanted to say something but hesitated. In the end, he comforted me, "Don't worry. As long as there is hope, we won't give up."

I bowed deeply to Daniel and began to investigate Maya's accident secretly.

I found some clues and Helena was suspicious.

I went to talk to Helena and got straight to the point. "Do you have something to do with Maya's accident?"

"So what if I did it? Do you have proof?" Helena smiled smugly.

"You're crazy!"

A monstrous rage erupted from my body.

 "Go to hell!"

I picked up the wooden bench in the living room and threw it at Helena's head. In mid-air, my wrist was grabbed by a strong hand.

My wrist hurt.
