To You Whom I Haven't Seen for Years

17

The next day when I woke up and looked up at the ceiling, I couldn't figure out where I was for a moment.

"Heck!"

I pulled the quilt over and covered my face. I recalled all the things that happened from yesterday afternoon to evening.

Did I really have sex with Jayden?

Oh my God, I hope God would not take my life for it.

Quietly pulling back the corner of the blanket, I turned to look at the other side of the bed but found it empty.

I tiptoed to the door and faintly heard some noise coming from the direction of the living room and kitchen outside.

Taking advantage of Jayden not being in the bedroom, I quickly slipped into the bathroom and started taking a shower.

After the shower, I found a problem: I didn't bring a different change of clothes.

Yesterday's clothes definitely couldn't be worn again.

But, I couldn't go out wrapped in just a thin bath towel, right?

It was true that everything had happened during the night I had with Jayden.
