The Way, Way Back

I declined Jonah's request to meet at the company. But the variety show had only finished recording the first episode, so Jonah and I met again another Saturday.

He still looked at me with innocent eyes, as if I was the one who had caused all this.

Even if I tried to evade him, it didn't prevent the program group from wanting to "make trouble".

One of the levels required four people to cross a certain distance. The other four teams seemed to have discussed it and they were divided into two groups.

So teaming up with Jonah and Jeremy became our only option.

During practice, Jonah came to my side from time to time, facing the camera. I had to grit my teeth and endure.

"Cindy, even if you don't want to see me anymore, you have to admit that you need me." Jonah turned off the microphone and approached me. He grabbed my wrist so that I couldn't push him away, "I asked about your current situation. You need an artist to prove yourself.”

"And I will be your best tool."
