I went back to the basement. The difference was, this time I had Calvin with me.

We went through the kitchen and opened the small door to find the woman still lying on the floor. When she saw me come in with Calvin, she whined as if she was unwilling to give up.

Calvin sighed softly and said, "Mia, I don't really want to lock her up here, but she is insane. When she goes out there, she hurts people, so I have no choice."

Every time Calvin spoke, the woman would wave her hands. It was so sad to see two people who used to love each other turn out like that.

But Calvin still hadn't proved it was Stella on the floor.

"Calvin, prove it to me!"

Calvin nodded and looked at me. "Mia, before I do it, I have to tell you how to make the special Barnacle Foie Gras first."

"How?" I asked.

Calvin walked to a corner and took out a bucket. There were densely packed gray larvae floating and wriggling in the water, which gave me goosebumps.
