"God, you like your uncle!" Grace was quite frightened. She lowered her voice, and looked at me in surprise, "Emily, I°Øm impressed. You told your uncle so bluntly!"

"But I have no blood relationship with him. I°≠I like him."
I was sobbing and stuttering, "I just said it. I didn°Øt expect him to have such an attitude... I°Øll never talk to him again."
Grace froze.
Grace looked at me and put her chin on her hands, "You might as well think about your grades. The teacher worked overtime today, and the grades will be out tonight at the earliest."
...
I stopped crying abruptly, "Then is there going to be a parent-teacher meeting?"
Grace said, "Yes."
I sobbed and cried even harder.
To avoid Marco, I simply didn't go home and stayed at Grace's house.
However, I waited until the night but didn't get any call from Marco. I felt my eyes were swollen from crying, and I felt sleepy under the quilt.
"Eaton, thank you."
"You°Øre welcome. We are classmates after all."
