Unattainable Love

30.

Since I couldn't get the ring, I packed up my luggage and decided to leave first.

But...

Before I could reach the door, I saw Logan stumble into the house. He was wearing a handmade suit that should look elegant on him, but his tie was tipped.

"Where are you going?" Logan asked.

With his hand on the doorknob, he gasped and looked at me.

"The divorce paper is on the table. I've already signed it. You can take a look and make sure there's nothing wrong before signing it."

I held the handle of the suitcase tightly and did not answer the question.

Logan's eyes turned slightly cold. "I won't sign it."

I found it funny and solemnly told him again that it was just a fake marriage and that he shouldn't take it too seriously.

At that moment...

Logan's expression changed slightly. He frowned and said, "You asked for a divorce abruptly. I need some time to explain it to my mother. Before I make her understand it, you can't leave here."

I didn't know what to say.
